All Roads Lead to Baghdad : Army Special Operations Forces in Iraq. By Charles H. Briscoe, et al.
Published by the Army Special Operations Command History Office.
This book tells the story of Operation
Iraqi Freedom (OIF) - the invasion of Iraq in March of 2003 by the
United States and its allies. The book details how Army special
operations forces (Special Forces, Psyop, Civil Affairs, 160th SOAR,
and the Rangers) supported a US-led conventional air and ground
offensive to cause the collapse of the regime of Saddam Hussein and
capture Baghdad. It tells the unknown story of SOF actions in
the north and west of Iraq that contributed so greatly to the success
of the invasion.
